HW Brass-Savers®

Brass-Saver brass cleaning brushes are a must for any brass player. Sediments that collect inside brass tubing can impede sound, playability and sanitation. HW Brass-Saver® brushes offer a safe and effective method of cleaning corrosive saliva and mineral deposits from the inside of your horn. They can be used wet or dry, won’t get stuck, and unlike the traditional snake, they contain absolutely no metal so they won’t scratch. The special fiber will not shed, shrink, or swell, can be used wet or dry, and stands up to the chemicals in cleaning solutions.

Not recommended for instruments with interior sharp edges.

The HW Brass-Saver® set for Baritone or Euphonium features a non-metal flexible lead pipe/slide brush (approximately 1'' Diameter and 42'' Long) that won't scratch or get stuck, and a double-ended valve casing brush for a complete maintenance kit.

The HW Brass-Saver® set for Flugelhorn features a non-metal flexible lead pipe/slide brush (approximately 3/4" diameter and 77" long) that won't scratch or get stuck, and a double-ended valve casing brush for a complete maintenance kit.

The HW Brass-Saver® set for French Horn features two non-metal flexible brushes that won't scratch or get stuck. One is sized for single or double lead pipe (approximately 1/2" diameter and 51" long), the other for the removable slides (approximately 3/4" diameter and 30" long).

The HW Brass-Saver® set for Trombone contains two pull-through brushes; the 86" brush will easily travel through the lead pipe (including the narrowing) and the outer slide; the 50" brush is for the tuning slide.

The HW Brass-Saver® set for Trumpet features a non-metal flexible lead pipe/slide brush (approximately 3/4" diameter and 42" long) that won't scratch or get stuck, and a double-ended valve casing brush for a complete maintenance kit. It includes the mouthpipe pull-thru brush and a double-ended stick brush for valve casings and tubing, designed to fit through the narrowest of mouthpipes. The versatile slide pull-thru brush fits even the third valve slide, and the valve and tubing brush is so rugged it gets in and really scrubs the tubing and valve casings.
