the INSTRUMENT LAB PRODUCT MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING “GREAT TOOLS FOR GREAT TECHNICIANS,” FIRMLY STANDING BEHIND THE QUALITY & WORKMANSHIP OF EVERY PRODUCT WE MANUFACTURE.

the Instrument Lab LLC warrants our products to be free from material or manufacturing defects for the stated warranty period, subject to the terms and conditions provided in this Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) as specified for each of our products.

Warranty covers repair or replacement (at our discretion) in the event of defective materials and/or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of shipment.

Warranty is valid and applies only when the Instrument Lab LLC’s product(s) are properly utilized for their intended purpose as provided in the product specifications and user manual, and are properly installed in accordance with the product installation instructions and all applicable safety standards.

Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Warranty period begins on the date of the original shipment. If a product or component is replaced or repaired under this Warranty, the period does not start over. Instead, the warranty period of the replacement product or component will expire on the same date as the original product.

the Instrument Lab LLC makes absolutely no warranties other than those set forth in this Warranty, and this Warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, infringement or fitness for a particular purpose except as that expressly required under applicable law.

the Instrument Lab LLC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages in connection with or arising out of the use of our products, or for any other indirect damages, including but not limited to, lost or anticipated revenues or profits, loss of property, damage to property, personal injury, injury to reputation and/or loss of customers. Our sole liability with respect to defects, at our sole option, is for replacement, repair or refund of the defective product or component. Any refund will not exceed the original cost paid by the purchaser for the defective product.

the Instrument Lab LLC liability shall be strictly limited to the total amounts paid for the defective product to the Instrument Lab LLC by the original purchaser.

We are always considering new ways to improve our products. In the event that a product, or any of its parts or components, has changed or been updated, the Instrument Lab LLC reserves the right to repair with new parts or components, or to replace with a similar/comparable product or component at its sole discretion.

“Consumables” are not covered under this Warranty. Consumables include, but are not limited to: graphite/carbon electrodes, fuses, catheters and bulbs. While the Instrument Lab LLC has provided some redundancy for consumables, the Instrument Lab LLC assumes no liability for consumables other than what is expressly stated within this Warranty.

Due to the nature of the AirHot™ heating element, the AirHot™ programmable hot air wand will be considered a consumable with 1 year warranty replacement coverage.

No person, partner, reseller, employee, technician or installer is authorized to make any other warranties, express or implied, relating to the Instrument Lab LLC products. This Warranty cannot be modified without the express written approval of the Instrument Lab LLC.

This Warranty does not apply to any of the following situations:

products that have been physically damaged or which have been subjected to abuse, mishandling, misapplication or misuse;
products that have been damaged due to improper installation;  products that have been disassembled, tampered with, modified or manifestly altered;
products that have been used in inappropriate environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, moisture, etc.);
products that have been damaged due to electrical power surges and/or spikes;
products that have been used in any manner or for any purpose that is inconsistent with our
product specifications;
products and components exhibiting normal “wear and tear” and/or “consumables.”

In the event the original purchaser wishes to make a claim under this Warranty, the original purchaser must contact the Instrument Lab LLC to request assistance/service. We reserve the right to examine and test all products under claim of Warranty to evaluate the root cause of the product’s failure, to consider whether the product was properly installed and used, and to ultimately make a determination whether the product is covered under this Warranty.

If we determine at our sole discretion that the claim is within the terms and conditions of this Warranty, the Instrument Lab LLC will provide, at our sole discretion, either a replacement product/component, a RMA to return the product for repairs, or a refund of the original purchase price. the Instrument Lab LLC is not responsible for any other expenses resulting from a Warranty claim such as shipping, labor or other costs or expenses to remove, repair or install any defective, repaired or replaced product.

Consumer’s Acknowledgement:

By purchasing our products, you agree and acknowledge that instrument repair is a complex undertaking and seemingly minor factors can have a significant impact. the Instrument Lab LLC is always willing to share instrument repair expertise, however, you acknowledge that it is virtually impossible for the Instrument Lab LLC to foresee every factor or aspect of an instrument repair. You agree to hold the Instrument Lab LLC and/or it’s officers, owners and employees harmless in all aspects of the law in regards to your usage of our products and/or work on instruments, or other materials and products
